See Our Full Range Of Chlorine Shower Filters Here

People across the world know that drinking chlorinated water can be harmful. People also know that having chlorinated water can result in major problems related to the skin, eyes, throat etc. People may also know that chlorine gas was touted as one of the deadliest weapons in World War I.

However, there are still many things about chlorinated water that most people are not aware of. The biggest supporter of that statement is the fact that people day in and day out shower with chlorinated water without any concern for their health. The logical question that they should be asking is that if drinking chlorinated water is bad for health then why shouldn’t it be bad to shower in? A chlorine shower filter should be given high priority by people because showering in chlorinated water is as dangerous as drinking chlorinated water.

The primary reason why a chlorine shower filter should be installed is that showering with chlorinated water can result in a person absorbing chlorine through his skin. This is especially true if the person is having a warm shower. Warm water has the tendency to not only vaporize chlorine and hide it in steam but also open the pores of the person resulting in direct absorption. Therefore, one is exposed to chlorine in two forms i.e. inhalation of gas and absorption through the skin. Moreover, this does not include any water that sneaks in through the mouth of the person having a shower. Chlorine in the body can result in major problems such as birthing issues, cancer, circulation problems etc. Also, even if such drastic problems can be ignored, there are still lesser problems such as dry skin, itchy eyes, sore throat, indigestion etc.

The human digestive system still acts as a filter of chlorine that is ingested through drinking water. This is more than evident by the inclination of the human body to vomit the moment the chlorine levels rise in the body. Chlorine inhaled in gaseous form is much more harmful than chlorine ingested through drinking water. This inhaled chlorine gas is easily transferred into a person’s blood stream through the exchange process of gases in the lungs. Hence, external filtration is required in the form of a chlorine shower filter.

A chlorine shower filtercan easily deter all the major chlorine related health issues such as cancer, birthing problems, skin issues and hair loss. It is also advisable for a person to buy a high end chlorine shower filter instead of settling for a cheap one that will not provide proper protection. For example, a high end chlorine filtration process will be divided into two steps. The extra step is for the removal of other harmful chemicals and compounds from the water. Furthermore, a proper chlorine shower filter will be able to inhibit the growth of pathogenic microbes in the carbon filter. This is a major problem for people who have a lot of warm showers, as dampness and warmth encourage bacterial growth.
